Positano

Positano

Defined as the pearl of the Mediterranean, its postcard-perfect scenery, with colorful houses descending towards the sea, is known worldwide. Since the 1960s, Positano has become a destination for the international jet set. It was frequently visited by Jacqueline Kennedy, Gianni Agnelli, Franco Zeffirelli, Liz Taylor, and Rudolph Nureyev, among many other famous personalities.

A place perhaps unique in the world, a jewel set into the rock overlooking the sea. Clusters of colorful houses built on steep terraces are connected by narrow alleys and long staircases that descend to the sea, amidst the scent of lemons and broom flowers.

A stroll through Positano means embracing a true lifestyle thanks to the spectacular works hidden in its historic center, such as the Church of Santa Maria Teresa dell'Assunta with its majolica dome gleaming under the sun, and the Roman Villa, a true example of the town's great historical, artistic, and architectural heritage.

Since the 1960s, amid the beautiful colorful shops, a distinctive style of clothing has emerged from Positano, which remains popular to this day. This clothing style, consisting of dresses, tunics, shirts, and sandals, is inspired by the elegance and atmospheres of the Mediterranean.
